contrast and clarity are general 'go to' answers to get a better impression of almost anything.
the watercolor forum would likely have tips for how best to achieve that with h20 paints.

i like the softness mixed with the darker/sharper bottom of this piece, tho i'd be tempted to add tiny hints of detail in the seed balls of the dandelions.

I like that the picture has an overall more darker tone to it and that the grass is not too detailed but I believe that this is not supposed to be in focus here. However, and I do agree with La_ here that the seed balls should have a tiny bit more details.
