Aesthetic Science of Color, UC Berkley Study

Hi, I found this video looking for info regarding the psychology of color...the video is lengthy, but I thought some of you people interested in various color theory might find parts of it interesting. For me it became most interesting at about 49 minutes in..Also, the video doesn't directly pertain to art, but it does relate to the psychology of people, and they are primarily who make and view our art.

They use their color harmonies only in primitive packages design! I guess, they have not strong artists who can check their revolutionary ideas in practical painting. So, I decided to try theirs new color scheme in my next painting, even it will fail because I am a poor painter. It would be better to throw away a bad painting than never try an interesting innovation, Becca!

Alex, I agree, why be safe...You really will grow by doing, painting is evolutionary in nature to each artist..it pays to explore..unless all you are looking at is the potential market...and to me that would be sad.
