Hello there,
Here’s one of my new sculptures, one which was pure fun to make. I’ve made a couple of foxes before, in a neutral, standing pose, but wanted some whimsy for this one. A slender, graceful lady fox with a big tail, slim legs, and a twinkling scarf for the winter chill.
She’s made with some fencing wire (for strength and stability at the core), copper wire, and some dark annealed wire for her little black feet. A pair of wide feather embellishments are her ears, her nose is a black bead, and the tip of her tail is a creamy white and gold metal pin. I’d been saving this pin for a bird tail, but this was a much more interesting use for it. About her neck is a jewel-encrusted scarf made with a long, twinkling band of silver and diamond-like gems. The ends of the scarf have little feather “tassels”. The scarf turns freely on her neck so I turned it somewhat for a few of the photos. She measures about 7 inches tall by 5.5 inches long (side view) by 4 inches wide (front view). I hope you like her. C&C welcome. Thanks for looking!

It’s sure great to see you back around here.
