Cross posted from Abs/Con it is 9×6 mixed media on black Crescent matboard finished today. I used white and gold metallic alcohol inks, white acrylic, and white gel pen on this abstract, imaginary shape that was started months ago. Not sure what else to do I left it alone to simmer on the back burner so this is the end result

oh wow! it’s all about atmosphere and depths, the metal effect must heighten that irl. aquatic, mysterious, silent and purposeful, the bubbles move like little animals.

Just my opinion, but I’d love to see some color added to some of those little bubbles. Just enough to make them look really 3D…

I was thinking a deep under the sea creature! Maybe use it as a collage piece in a larger work…just thinking
