Re: Project Discussion: ATC Project Xchg - Fall/Winter

Question... would anyone be terribly sad if we cut it here at 20 participants? We'd make 19 cards and I can get the list out in a few days. It's only short by 5, but I think that since there is another project going on at Jeanne's house and there are others people are just finishing up on, that there probably won't be many more to fill in the gap. Let me know and I can close it. I need a vote!

Thanks for checking in Jean! It's less work for me too! And maybe the project won't go on for a year this way!

Re: Project Discussion: ATC Project Xchg - Fall/Winter

Thanks Sue, I just realized I can't alter the project, so I had to ask Tamara to do it. Hope it's done soon, I figure 20 is a good number since so many people are doing other projects or still involved in ones from last year!

Re: Project Discussion: ATC Project Xchg - Fall/Winter

20 is good. In fact I may send out my addresses. May not ask for it to close but it's pretty slow for signups. I had to really work to get 20 in mine since it was on the project page for only 3 days. I had to go looking for my people and thank each and every one of them.

I have all my addresses ready. Just need to announce and send out.

Re: Project Discussion: ATC Project Xchg - Fall/Winter

Hi all,

Thanks for your response. Unfortunately Lady Rando is the moderator and has all control over changing the number to 20 to state "full". I am going to send the address list out in the next day or so and just tell anyone else that signs up that we're full. We'll stay at 20. And Jeanne, I really did not know when I posted my project that yours was already going or I would never had done one, I would have just joined yours. I feel bad that I took your spot. I also did some 'recruiting'... and I thank everyone that responded! God bless and hope that Tamara fixes the number, if not, we'll just proceed with 20. Working on getting the list together this afternoon, but have 2 kids with tons of homework, it may be tomorrow morning or afternoon. Don't let that stop you from CREATING!

XOXOX Rose

20 is fine with me. Being a newbie a smaller group seems less overwhelming, and I'm in the "Pieces" project too.

Re: Project Discussion: ATC Project Xchg - Fall/Winter

Selkhie, thanks for the advice... and I did limit it to 20, and will not be accepting more. What I decided to do was print out both lists and just do one mailing for the doubles on the two lists since I am also doing the Pieces project. Saves money and 2 for the price of one! Hugs! Rose

Re: Project Discussion: ATC Project Xchg - Fall/Winter

Rose I didn't mind the second trade. When mine was posted on the project page, it was put on the right side of the existing projects. Usually they are put on the left side and they slide to the right as they are replaced. So out of 3 (2 older ones), mine was bumped right away. Not your fault. Just happened that way.

Like you I emailed past participants and every time you got one, I "guilted" them into my trade. Not really but I did ask if they could handle a second. I guilted mammevicki. lol

Re: Project Discussion: ATC Project Xchg - Fall/Winter

Jeanne,

I think it's great that 15 out of both of our projects are doing both at the same time, it will save on stamps. I think if I had just looked to see if there were any outstanding projects, I wouldn't have begun another. I thought everyone was finishing up from past projects though. Oh well, 38 cards to do is better than 48 Nobody guilted anyone... okay, maybe we did a bit.
