Re: Project Discussion: Art Card Project Exchange II

I am really getting into this. I sent out 3 cards yesterday and I will be sending out another one in the morning. The first 3 were acrylic but this last one is pencil on bristol board and it seems to be smearing a bit. I have never sprayed my pencil drawings with fixitive. Is that usually done? I have already sealed the envelope and stamped it so it's too late for this one.

Re: Project Discussion: Art Card Project Exchange II

I sent off my first three cards this morning, and have PMd the Recipients. Hope they have a swift and safe journey to their new homes. Two were Acrylics and one was Pen and Ink + Acrylics.

What fun!!!!!!!

Val.

Interesting !!! I have the opposite problem. I used to paint larger than ATC size. I did try the postcard project once. Sometimes I feel it is quite tight control in such a small space. I am looking forward to complete this
ATC project though. I just finish 2 cards. Will mail them soon. Ai

Re: Project Discussion: Art Card Project Exchange II

I should be able to send a couple of cards out this weekend. Today my little guy (2nd grader) came home with a migraine and then the stomach thingy hit... so we've been quite busy this afternoon. The headache has finally gone away, but I just hope it's not contagious. Going to the school gives me the willies! Blech.

I can't wait until someone actually receives their first card and we can see it. My first went to Germany and she said it takes about 1-2 weeks.

Here it is! Our first card and I'm the lucky recipient! Isn't it great? I love the colors. Reminds me of our trip to New England. Very well done. This really takes talent to paint on such a small piece of paper and have it totally in scale. Great work. Thanks Annette
