WDE 6 January - Hyacinth 5 minute challenge - twice

I decided to take on the 5-minute sketch challenge. The first version is in my diary, size A4, using a cheapo ball point pen that I keep with it. The photo didn't turn out too well, the lines look weird on my tiny screen, but here it is. I really need to sort my camera out.

A while later I was assembling a kitchen unit and had a load of cardboard to throw out, and saw an opportunity to have another go. This is in Sharpie and is 24 x 32".

Both took 5 minutes each.

Thanks for looking

Wow! Great BIG fast sketches, beautifully done! Love the giant one especially, that looks ready to paint and well balanced!

Great work! Pity about the lines in the first one, it is very difficult to see the sketch properly on the screen.

Thanks for the comments, much appreciated

I will try and photograph the first one again, it looked fine until I resized it. Quick sketches are a lot of fun.
