Fish and Tomatoes

I'm new to printmaking, but I've been learning fast by sitting in on Printmaking 1 at the university where I teach. I'm happy to find the printmaking forum on Wet Canvas.

Here are two hard ground etchings with chine colle.

The paper I used for chine colle was so thin, I had some trouble with getting it to down perfect.

Here is my first four color woodblock

The professor actually brought in fish with heads and tails for us to draw for our prints.

Crits welcome!

Kate

Re: Fish and Tomatoes

Really good. I like the second one the best, the fishes expressions...

That four color one is excellent. I too like the expression on the fishes faces in the second one. Made me smile.

Great stuff, all the way around!
