Murals for zoological museum

Here is couple of pics of paintings that I made for dioramas in Zoological museum. More pics and wip in my websites On easel part. Pleace understand that this website is not ready yet. But I could not wait to post



This Amazonas wall is 7,5m x 2,7m.



This closeup is roughly 50cm high.





These paintings are 2m high.

There is not much choise what colours you have to use. You should try to mach your painting to things that will come in foreground:


Here is real rainforest leafs from Africa. After tese bright lights are off and only led lights are on, all these leafs are same colour.

WOW!!! Those are GORGEOUS! I love your muted colors (necessary I know, but very soothing). Everything looks so real, that tree looks 3D!

Wow! These are incredible. I love that kind of realism, diorama paintings and museum murals have fascinated me all my life. Charles R. Knight is a lot of why I was interested in painting. I can understand using and matching the colors of the foreground exhibits in order to seamlessly integrate the backdrop with the specimens -- those leaves are wonderful.
