    Hi everyone,

Just sharing a little horse sculpture I made over summer. Happily, she’s been sold, but I forgot to measure her before I took her to the art show where she found her new home. :) She was somewhere around 7-8 inches long by maybe 5.5 – 6 inches tall. I used copper wire for most of her, but used steel for her legs to suggest white socks. I also tried a slightly different technique for the legs to try and get more anatomically correct forms. Her mane and tail were fine, glittering chain and her ears were wing embellishments. I welcome C&C, but since I don’t have her anymore, I can’t fix anything. ;) Her feet stood firmly and evenly on the ground…but the old railroad tie I set her on for the photos would suggest otherwise! I didn’t notice that when I took the photos.

    Thanks for looking!

Love the shine coming off the copper wire, great media for rendering that warm terra cotta pelt. A very satisfied client no doubt! :)

I have a close friend who is a “Ginger” personality – glorious red hair, beautifully coiffed and fabulous from the top of her glorious mane to the tips of her toes – just like your sculpture. I’m always amazed, not only at how expert you are technically with your sculptures, but you breathe life, personality and character to them too – simply stunning work!

Oooo, isn’t she a pretty flashy thing?! Beware the chestnut mare though! One was enough for me! Great job as always, Jenna!
