The concept came from a call for artists and we were inspired to respond. The call kept it vague, so we've been riffing on codified information, like written and oral language, programming code, symbols and symbolism, messages that are code for less politically correct messages, encryption and puzzles, data visualizations like charts and graphs, and anything else along those lines.
As someone who has been involved in information and data technologies and practices for 30 years, this feels right up my alley as an artist, and is the first time I've felt inspired enough to mix the two careers.
I took a certain political figure as my starting point for this one...
