Anyone using Astropad?

Funny thing, but while I still prefer the desktop version of Artrage over any of the iPad apps, and believe me, I've tried quite a few, I do find that I'm less than happy with my wacom now that i've gotten used to the apple pencil. A friend suggested Astropad, which allows your iPad and apple pencil to work with your desktop computer. I downloaded part and never finished.
I've always used small, older Wacoms. I'm now using a medium size Intuous, with bluetooth and I always use it connected with USB, as it just doesn't seem very responsive on bluetooth.
Just wondering if anyone else has tried it.

Have you tried Affinity designer for iPad? It takes some getting used to but has both vectors and pixel personas. Does most everything and is very similar to procreate. Which is also a great app

Re: Anyone using Astropad?

I haven't, but I'm not a big vector programs. I have Illustrator with the creative suite that I need for my business, and use it as little as necessary. I'm more focussed on making my digital work look like natural materials. I'm just thinking I'd like to use my iPad as I would the wacom. Still haven't gotten around to getting the rest of Astropad installed. Work has been very busy.
