Today, I got to hike again, at Jollys Lookout Mount Nebo. I love it up here, just a magnificent place to hike.
Mount Nebo is a mountain approximately 28 km north of the Brisbane suburb of The Gap in Queensland, Australia. It is part of the D'Aguilar Range
which includes other mountains such as Mount Pleasant, Mount Glorious and Mount Mee. The town of Mount Nebo is named after the mountain on which it is located.
The start of our walk. :-))
This tree is huge!!!! and very very old.
A glimpse from the top..
These are all the photos I took this time. It was a short walk, only one and a half hours from Jollys Lookout, to Cafe Boombana, where we had morning tea, and the same back. We started out with a party of five walkers, but the two ladies baled out after the first part from Jollys Lookout. They didn't like the leeches. Graham, Aaron and I went on. We kept up a fast pace, and I enjoyed it. A good workout, on a grade 3 track, with really pleasant walking weather.
Thank you for looking.
