Re: Colored pencils drawing in Chinese traditional painting style
Very nice to see Chinese painting done in pencils. You are doing a wonderful job. Are you using the traditional Chinese papers? What brand of pencils are you using?

Welcome to the site and I love the simplicity, yet very artistic work that you do. Please continue to share. Really enjoy looking at something different.

beautiful
Have you tried looking at the Inktense Pencils, they would be ideal for this type of art, as you can draw in pencil and then using a wet brush the colour is converted into intense ink colours.

Re: Colored pencils drawing in Chinese traditional painting style
Have you tried ironing the paper with a steam iron? You would have to put a cloth on the paper so you don't burn the paper and set the iron fairly low. Do a test on a clean sheet of paper, not one with your lovely drawing.
I agree with Greg about using Inktense pencils, but you would have to use thicker watercolour paper for your drawings because when you use Inktense with thin paper, the paper buckles.
Vena.

Thank GregPerkins!
It could be a good idea, i have not yet tried that. i m searching some ways on applying colors to the drawing also about the paper choice for matching the effect.
