11×7.5 watercolor on Fabriano 140 lb cold press paper completed a few days ago. Using a photo ref from fellow moderator Virginia (Miniatures) of a fluffed up bird in the cold, I’ve added snow to the tree and limbs as there was none.

Oh nice! Love the way you added the snow, it’s so fluffed up it needs that snow and ice around for context. Great painting. A little startling the head being so similar to the sky color, but that’s also fun!
