Lovely, such a great pastel pallet!
The forms and motions are all great.
I love the translucency of the tail.
I also really like how her hair fades away in that swirl.

Well, my dear artiste's, if it helps, my palate was quinacridone rose, thalo blue, Windsor yellow, T-white, and black. And your right! Frazzetta would have used some earth tones and black.

My backyard is the California Pacific ocean, just a stone's throw away. Theses sorts of creatures abound here in beautiful Port Hueneme.
