Re: #2 plein air series

dont overcome that.
take it as part of the problem.
walk out your door and stop and set up.

issues like
people walkin around
composing or selecting something of interest
buildings and human impact
life metaphors
garbage
rest room

walk out your door and except the situation just to challange yourself.

other intersting challenges which i have done for diferent learning experiences:
one color in palette
3 colors
primaries only
two complimentaries (orange and purple)

Only fat 1 inch or larger brushes

only water

only gloss medium

only gel

Your own backyard!! A look over the fence. Your local park. Anywhere where there might be a nearby stream. An interesting sky. Watch for the wonderful colours and different clouds - great practice. A pavement cafe with your back to the wall!! Not much travel need for these ones. As you continue with your PA's , one scene leads to another. It is an exciting experience. Have fun. Hug.

So glad you did not through it in the lake
I think you did a great job. Makes me want to give it a try but I know I could not do it in 1.5 hours. Way to go.

Georgia O’Keeffe took a few steps out her door and changed the world. You never know what you'll see until you look

I love this! I like the softness and the appealing colors. I especially like that dappled pathway leading into the painting. I am looking forward to seeing more!
