I painted the geisha in wc for the wc challenge. I didn’t like the face so I added op’s to correct the face…then the hair…and the dress…and the background…
Not too much left of the original wc:lol:

Great job Christel. The details on the fabric are fantastic. Love how sharp the foreground is. Really pulls you in as the viewer.. Great job and really improved it with the rework in op

I don’t think your WC is bad at all – but I do agree the colors are more vibrant in the gown, and that vibrant red looks best against the green background you added. Nice!

Nice work, Christel! I like the enhanced warmth and contrast in the kimono. Good work with the likeness, too – I remember the appeal of the photo over in watermedia, but all the detail scared me away.
