So new to it all
I really don't know about the art scene yet I have been working for years. (mostly free) I have done a few (literally) book covers and a many other odd jobs as they came. I've never really set up any proper charging policies I don't really know my worth if you know what I mean. I wish to have guidence and advice. Any advice is gladly welcomed. For instance, I have know idea if I have been doing book covers properly and I am going to take on another project by November 2012. I'd love to know if I have been doing any of it right and where to go from here. Please help.

This was something I've been working on using brushes my iPad app. The thing I'm struggling with is the long curly blonde hair. I have been working so long in cutesy, almost cartooned art that I have forgot stylized realism. I think I have decided that I'd much rather it look a little imperfect and painterly otherwise I might as well have just used actual photos. Still I like the way this is coming out.
