This is the ninth and last of the series of paintings featuring glass and flowers. How to end a series ? This is difficult. So, I did an Ensō, which in Zen is “no-thing”.

This is so different than the others in your series, but it still has elements in the same theme – the washes of colors, the grid lines, the subject matter….
I really like this one the best – such a strong flowing composition, like the delicate bits as well (like the tiny circle pattern top and bottom) which contrast with that strong black stroke moving my eye around the painting. Lovely!
