This is portrait Rosa I done recently. She’s a model and my friend on Instagram. I used her photograph as reference (permission acquired).

As usual, I used graphite and vine charcoal stick. A2 size, on watercolor paper, the brand is Arto. I also made a quick explanation of how I sketch for newbie.

Lovely delicate shades in the face to contrast with the stronger background. Personally I like your bottom right image, I think it is too much background, and too evenly placed, in the final.

Being born places you at a greater risk of dying later in life.
