Polish washing up liquid

15cm x 10cm i think it was. Cheap canvas.
Painted while on holiday in Poland.

It hangs in a friends kitchen in Wraca, Poland.
Much loved by the owner.

The truth is that that originally I painted flowers, then a wheat field on this canvas. Both were rubbish. I saw this bottle in my mother in laws kitchen and knew straight away it was more my style.

The best part is that my lovely wife knew exactly who it should go to....and she was SO right.

You can utilize that liquid to clean the plate holding the ‘pirogies’...

It's often that the most simple subject touches others the most. I think this is how Andy Warhol started! You and I need to become good friends! (My most horrible paintings are well hidden under well loved works. Pain before pleasure!)

And the pan that baked the ‘babka’, and the pan that sauté the ‘kielbasi’....that green solution is very beneficial...nice piece of work!

Love the texture you have in this. I know it comes from the over painting, but it truly adds. That plastic bottle is well painted. I enjoy your quirky subjects and drawing style.
