Re: Weeders' Chat Room: pop in and share your news here ;)

Thanks for pointing this out Connie - I guess it depends on who puts the invitation into the Digest ..... not being smug here, but when I post an invite to any of the various challenges set by forums I moderate, I always include a link because I understand how difficult some find it to navigate the site.

I'll see what I can do!

Thank goodness you brought that up Connie! I thought I was the only one who couldn’t navigate. I have saved a link for about a year to a previous thread, when I click it I get to the all-media section and from there can make my way. Otherwise I am lost. LOL of course - what else is new!

Hi Guilli,
Glad you made it back....WHEW!
I haven't popped in here for some time myself. I'm so sad that WDE is so quiet these days. The hay days are GONE
I'm glad there's still plenty of familiar faces tho.

Hi Guilli you have been missed. With the WDE yes, definitely having that link has helped a lot, on my week hosting, I have seen a lot of users coming in which is fantastic. The other thing I've noticed this week is that there is a LOT of newbies. They were all reading the guidelines, so I'd like to think that if they were too scared to participate on the first, they will see how it works and then join later on. That's my hope.
Sandy.

Good to have you back Guille.
Also great to see lots of newbies.
The summer has been quiet in the forums.
I have been out a couple weeks with a trip to see an ailing friend, and the loss of another.
Went out plein air painting this week and getting back into the creative mode.

Guilli, you've had quite a traumatic time over these past months - hope all is OK now

Very quiet this week, but it's summer, holiday time and over here, so HOT! Temps like this do tend to make it difficult to work - and when it's not so hot, the garden demands attention! I haven't yet managed to work a painting for my own WDE this week - tried digi, that wasn't going to plan, came to work from the screen for a painting, having trouble getting the computer to work ....... shall I persever? ........ or go find something cool for dinner? ...... such problems!!!!

Guilli - I too get that message at times - about WC ........ I think it may have something to do with Security Certificates (far too technical for me to understand!!! ) - but it's nothing we can alter! ..... my computer blocked WC yesterday

So sorry to read about your further health issues too - hope you're given a rest from it all soon - plus this heat, life can be miserable at times!.. surely the Good Lord recognises when 'enough is enough'!!!

I just saw Connie's suggestion and have added a link to my invite master. Great idea.

Guilli, good to see you back. What a nightmare that must have been. Hope you feel better soon.

Anne
