Peach and apricots (xpost in oil painting)

Hello everyone... it has been a while. Just finished this simple still life (8" x 10" and I've had many challenges with it :-)) to test if I can still hold a brush and mix color after almost a year of not having any practice.

Have a good one.

Zoran

Looks great to me Zoran. What is that in the background, a glass or cup?

Lovely setup and colors. I like the cool table contrasting with the warmer fruit and background. Looks like you had a fruit painting underneath - I see two circles, and you have covered it to make this painting.

The fruit is well rendered.
I also spied the possibility you painted over another work.

Hey Kiffin, Allison and Jon! Thanks for your kind comments, much appreciated... Yeah, this one was done on recycled canvas board, must have been something quite old beneath :-) Good observation though. I don't pay too much attention to it, it's not like it will end up in gallery or something (usually, after it's done - it collects dust somewhere in the corner lol).

Have a good one!

Zoran

Love fruit still life paintings. You've done well utilizing simple shapes and subtle colors, Zoran.
