Sarasota Classic Car Museum, The RED Series

Just a little over a month ago, I spent a day with my husband and daughter touring the Sarasota Classic Car Museum. A few weeks back I shared the photos from the collection of cars in the original building (built in 1959) with a variety of super looking vehicles lit up by bright and focused spotlights. The next challenge was to transition to a second building with big show room windows which provided a mixture of natural lighting along with several spot lights. So, here is the second installment from the Sarasota Car Museum. I call it the RED SERIES. Still working on the third and final images to this collection. But in the meantime, I hope you will enjoy looking at these.

You comments are appreciated.

2) Interior of the Corvette

3) 1951 F-1 Ford Pick Up Truck

4) 1958 Cadillac Convertible

Thanks, Mike.
Would you rather have a red car or green car? It is just a question because I know how Irish you are.

Lorell, not often do you find me here but was directed by your link elsewhere.
Olympus does red proud. Have you heard the Red and Black song from Les Misérables ? No connection to your thread aside from RED!

Thanks for looking, Mark.
Not familiar with Les Miserables. Even the title makes me sad.
I dozed off in Phathom of the Opera, really, I did.

Re: Sarasota Classic Car Museum, The RED Series

Phantom of the Opera IMHO was rubbish, along with Cats.

Synopsis:
Les Misérables (/leɪ ˌmɪzəˈrɑːbəl, -blə/, French: [le mizeʁabl(ə)]) is a French historical novel by Victor Hugo, first published in 1862, that is considered one of the greatest novels of the 19th century. In the English-speaking world, the novel is usually referred to by its original French title.

Wikipedia:
It was adapted for the stage as a musical by Claude-Michel Schoenberg.
If you ever get a chance to see it I promise you will not fall asleep. The music is beautiful and moving. The live musical is staged every 10 years.
There's also a compelling movie version, get a copy on DVD from Amazon.
I have the complete recording from the soundtrack on CD. Sandra and I saw the musical in London in 1990, it enriched our lives enormously.

Review:
Les Misérables is a sung-through musical based on the novel Les Misérables by French poet and novelist Victor Hugo. Premiering in Paris in 1980, it has music by Claude-Michel Schönberg, original French lyrics by Alain Boublil and Jean-Marc Natel, with an English-language libretto by Herbert Kretzmer. The London production has run continuously since October 1985 – the longest-running musical in the West End and the second longest-running musical in the world.

Lorell,
I have never been all that particular when it comes to the color of vehicles, b ut I do love that red and white Corvette in your image.
