You can certainly paint everything well Derek! I love the shadows on the side of the shack and the siding and roof shingles and tin are beyond amazing. Well done!

Now that is a fixer upper my friend. LOL
Beautifully portrayed Derek… there is some really fine detailing in there right down to the mossy effect and of course rusty tin roof.

Lovely, as usual, Derek. It is a great talent that can take trash and make something beautiful. Of course, who actually thinks that an old house is trash, what with the possibilities in it’s history. I love to fantasize about old abandoned houses: who built it, what it looked like when it was new, the first family who loved it, etc.

The character of the old shack is beautifully captured Derek & I like that underlying crimson which warms & unifies everything. The trees & plants work well, counteracting the building & directing attention left. Nicely Painted Derek !

An old house lovingly portrayed. It is the kind of place we would ignore as an eyesore until someone with a bulldozer takes it down; and, then, we would miss it. A pleasure just to see this painting. Gary

Excellent painting. I am always fascinated how people can paint very ‘realistic’ images and yet each artist has his/her different styles You have your own wonderful style and find the beauty in unexpected places!

Derek, this is just great. I love the perspective, with the corner sticking out at me, and the darkness in both directions. Your palette often reminds me of Andy Wyeth tempra.
