        I painted this with ArtRage on basic canvas. Mainly in oil but with special brushes also. I wondered if the middle row of bushes might be too much. All comments and advice are appreciated. Thanks.

                    I am starting to gain an appreciation for this method. The middle row is good, but maybe too much of a good thing?

                    Everything else being equal, I would rather be in the painting zone.

                                    Some very cool effects in this one. That mid level area contrasts so nicely in texture. I agree it should be used sparingly, but cool effect.

                                        I prefer the 1st version. A lovely sky & foreground to match. Nice.
                                        Darkening the tree trunk could be an option ? – Well Done !
