Dipping my toes in...

I have just begun experimenting with abstracts. these are all acrylic. 12x16 except for the study which is 6x8 inches.
Comments welcome.

Nice work.
Winter Lake and Phoenix both appeal to me. The brushwork on Winter Lake seems more refined, the idea more fully developed. With Phoenix, I can see an upright bird shape, but feel like you could integrate it more effectively while still maintaining abstraction. I like your direction .

love the first one, it's elegant, the angles change non-abruptly, nice flow, good value range, good composition.

I like the first, third, and fourth. Phoenix just seems somewhat different than the others.

Thanks guys. I will definitely push on with more of these.

Phoenix (black and gold) is quite different, the title came after it was finished. I was just sort of playing when I painted it.

I think Winter Lake, the first one is my favorite too.
