CC Flying Boat

Hansa Brandenburg CC Flying Boat, vintage 1916 (single pilot). I believe 73 were built for the German and Austro- Hungarian navies. An additional one was built with tri-wings.

Re: CC Flying Boat

Really cool. I like the star-struts. A bit like the D.I. That design has always fascinated me. Great work.

Re: CC Flying Boat

Alarmingly small tail section, but apparently it worked. Nice work.

Re: CC Flying Boat

Thanks Mark, vmrs, budigart. The thing that would concern me would be the radiator and fuel tank sitting above me, but then Model A Fords had the fuel tank tucked up under the dashboard. I think those generations were just a hardy breed.

Re: CC Flying Boat

Another great job on finding these relics. That is box cover art ready. Nice on the tones.
