Prairie Song Improvements - WIP

Have made the suggested changes ( per Phranque & Animale 38 ) in the background sky, legs & grasses - Lightened up the sky with Prussian Blue, Rose Madder and Cremnitz White - Worked on legs' highlights and shadows, plus added more detail and color to the grasses - Additionally, worked more on the accents & highlights of the bird - Too, softened the edges of the bird so that it did not appear so harsh, particularly against the sky - Hope these changes enhance the painting - I thank you for viewing and always welcome comments -

Re: Prairie Song Improvements - WIP

It's better, but I'd like to see that sky lighter still. There's a bit of a blue halo around the bird, maybe pull that colour, though lightened a bit, throughout the background. The lark looks great. Nice texture to the feathers.

Phranque: Thanks so much for your input - Will continue to lighten the sky - Yes, I noticed the blue halo after I had posted the painting - Need to work that out -
