My painting today is a portrait of a Chicken. From photo reference here on WC. Pastel on MiTientes 9×12 inches.

Yes! I am learning to do that!! Not easy if you don’t start out that way, so I will endeavor to get it beforehand with my next one! I was a little bit at a loss to begin with, but studied some pastel portraits and I believe they added the background first!!
