need tips applying solvent-based veneer on canvas

hello,
not to sure if this is the appropriate forum,
if it isn't i apologize. i'm rather new.

i'm trying to apply "clearjet brush & roll fine art" solvent base veneer on giclee canvas prints,
but can't keep the canvas from having residual lines from the roller.
& once those lines set (within minutes) they're permanent.
i've followed the directions to the T. including using a high density roller.

help? =[

No, this is an ok place to ask, but you have to give us enough time to answer, especially over a long weekend Welcome to WetCanvas and the MM forum.

Personally, I've never used that product, but hopefully someone else here has and can give you some guidance. If not, you could try posting the same question in one of the painting forums (maybe Acrylics or Oils) and see if someone there has any tips for you.

Is there any possibility to spray this product. I know that Golden Paints, recommends spraying their varnish products. Might help with this product as well. May require thinning the material to a level that can be sprayed. Certainly worth experimenting with on a small scale to see if it can work.
