Congratulations Robert! You managed to complete the challenge under difficult circumstances and have a great sketchbook to look back on too

Re: Rob's October Sketchbook Challenge

Perfect finish Robert. Stunning colours and somewhat fitting. Almost a beginning end theme. Great job.

Re: Rob's October Sketchbook Challenge

Rob,

The cats turned out quite well. Thanks for including them in your book. Nice to have the reference added so others could ask for the pictures too. When I get the time I'll probably add them to the reference library.

Re: Rob's October Sketchbook Challenge

Wow, thank you! Zenica, thanks for sharing those references, I hope you do post them to the RIL. I think that's possible again now.

Judy, I followed up with your cat outside the sketchbook, check your messages or the thread in Watermedia forum. I used acrylics for the whiskers on her but forgot to mention that - they looked good and acted as a resist for washing over them. I might use acrylic details again on a watercolor and pen piece, it really worked nicely.

Re: Rob's October Sketchbook Challenge

Wow, thank you! Chuck, I'd love to see you break out your color pencils after seeing what you do in graphite. It'll be wonderful!

I got started on November's book - going after the Sketchbook Project to give it a good start. Posted my first page, which is more like funny pages than these good drawings but is amusing if you like the underground comix sort of style.
