Re: September 2012 Watermedia Challenge - Gardens of the world

Wonderful paintings here; love

Sandra, I love the two you chose to paint. The flowers are almost singing they look like happy people dancing in a field! Love the simplicity of your second one.

Jean, your flowering garden is lively and lovely.

Kay, your gazebo is well done and I like your added flowers. Nice palette!

Sandra - As Kay said "a wonderful explosion of color" on your first painting and a totally different style with a classic pen & wash in your second one. Love both of them!

Jean - Great job with those watercolor pencils and watercolor....beautiful!

Kay - Beautiful wash & pen painting! Love the colors in it.

Jean, a very delicate piece even at a small scale.

Kay, I like your painting even more than the real photo. It looks like one out of a storybook.

It's amazing that all these gardens are in the same city, Laura. Imagining the climate different requirement for each. Thanks for showing us all these, Laura.

I did one more. Changed it a bit so it's not really a garden now.
