Angel, I have MGI photosuite 4. 8 probably has a lot more features, but still should work basicaly the same,
First open photosuite, the click "get" and click "scanner" give you photo a name, then click "scan" . When the scanner is finished, photosuite should tell you that it has saved the image under the name you gave it. Click OK, the click "get", then "computer" . Here you should see everything that you have scanned into photosuite. NOw click on the name of your photo, and then "open". NOw crop it, Then click print. It should show you the photo in a size as big as the 8 1/2x11 paper. NOw you should be able to print it the size it shows, or reduce it as you want it.

Thanks for all the info Five.

Thanks arlene. Your picture is WAY more important than this. This is just messing around with an old picture I had. Only for my own practice.

JamieWG, Chooky and LeAnn. Boy when I get this thing done I'm going to need a PARTY!!!!! Wish I hadn't even posted it so I could throw it away. I think it's more trouble than it's worth. Only thing is it does give me experience.

Oh, goodie, another excuse for a party! How's that for incentive? You'd better finish this, Sharon. FWIW, I think it's going to be gorgeous...no throwing this one away, okay?

Well Jamie, I finished it such as it is. No throwing it away. The colors did not scan right. The lamp looks so yellow and it isn't. It's more brownish like brass, but here it is. All comments welcome.
