Cross posted from the current WDE (Weekend Drawing Event) in All Media Art Events where I’m the host. This is 9×12 watercolor on Fluid 140 lb cold press paper. After a careful pencil drawing I did an underpainting of pale colors and then the sky w/ clouds. Darks were put in last as were the cracks in the old wood. Photo courtesy morguefile.com

Thanks everyone!
It was a timed 2 hour event for the WDE so I took all that plus almost two more. Then yesterday I re-glazed the inside rafters to darken them and also the far right side that is in shadow.
