I painted this for the A&W monthly challenge, from a photo by KreativeK. It’s Golden heavy body and Daler Rowney System3/Graduate on mountboard. It’s about 8×8″. The border was added digitally for neatness.

I’m still learning about acrylic (I normally use watercolours) and don’t use them very often but I had a lot of fun with this piece so I might keep going. Any C&C would be much appreciated. Thanks for looking.

This is delightful. I love the depth you created in such a simple way with shading on the dark stripes. And I am taken with the blue spots that are cohesive on both the pup and the background. Great style.
