                There are many videos on Youtube. Here is the link to one of Jason’s demos on feathers. Here is another. It’s a great idea to watch other artists at work. You then adapt that information to your own style of painting.

                        Ok Watched some videos but none had feathers looking like shingles like my photo. I think it’s improved a little. Still not thrilled with his body. Head I like.

                        I’m not an expert on feathers, but i have to say that it looks very “elegant” and sober, i think it has to do also with the eye of the eagle.
