Bleeding Hearts

Here's a quick watercolor sketch I did on Valentine's day from ArtyRolina's RIL image ("Bleeding Heart/Dicentra" - May 12, 2011) as practice for the Flowers Exchange project :-). 5 1/2 x 8 1/4" Fabriano studio 140# CP.




I plan to do a bit more work on this piece, either continuing with watercolor or with acrylic-as-watercolor.

This is nice and loose at the moment. I wouldn't do anymore to this but start another, you can then chart your progress.

I have to agree with Marion. You caught the flow of these lovely flowers very well, loose is something I struggle with so thumbsup.
