Watched a private holiday video on You tube and used the idea, I did pinch the left hand tree from the photoshop collection and the rest painted with corel painter 18, not doing a lot of travelling myself these days so do have to find scenery on the web sometimes. Might come back again with an old model Land Rover.

We must leave our mark on this worldApril 2, 2018 at 11:09 am #597178Thanks Michelle, and yes Yorkie you are right, but labouring on roads is very exhausting work after all the grass cutting.
April 3, 2018 at 9:55 am #597185Nice scene ..like Yorky said the road was a bit smooth. But I’m sure you were tired after all the mowing LOL anyways the UK has so many lovely scene’s to paint. I’m glad I had the chance to live there for a couple of years. I have done several acrylic paintings on canvas of the UK.

Every painting is a new adventure.April 3, 2018 at 10:37 am #597179I did try some of those brushes at the time but perhaps puddles or pot holes would do the trick. I did attempt at the time but exhaustion was setting in. Perhaps I can come in again with some renewed enthusiasm again.
April 4, 2018 at 7:19 am #597180Changed the road but still fancy some puddles and a land rover sometime.
April 4, 2018 at 9:55 am #597189That does look better, has more substance to it now.
C&C always welcome. Michelle

I find natural landscapes to paint wonderful anywhere on this planet.
April 7, 2018 at 10:15 am #597177Great scene and the road looks so much better in the second one! You might try PIXABAY for photos. It is a royalty free, free photo site and has a LOT of photos for reference. I use that a lot.
April 7, 2018 at 12:13 pm #597182Thanks Banna. I will give it a look.

Thanks again, went and viewed Pixabay, enough there to last a life time but getting through the register process is giving me some grip!
