Hey, I never really talk about my technique, because I never took lessons or anything. So I don't know if what I am doing is even correct. I basically work in passes. Fat over lean... the first pass I try and get the shapes zeroed in I use straight paint with turps. second pass I try and get the mid tones highlights and shadows planed and make sure the proportions are perfect again straight turps. then i just build it up from there really using medium. the colors are for the background I used mars black let it dry, then i go over it again with ivory black or a mixture to make black. the colors i am using for this are burnt umber, oxide green, cadium red, orange and yellow, naples yellow, lemon yellow, raw umber there are more that I will list
not happy with this last session really...
