Thumbs up Re: WIP- Another centaur!

Hello Lazarus Z and sketch1946! In answer to your question sketch1946..."Annie" and most of my centaur characters in Kerry's Tutorials are mostly clothed on their upper humanoid bodies. "Annie" because she is so well endowed! In a few they are nude. It is hard to clothe their lower Horse bodies and dress them selves except when wearing a type of covering "dress"! Besides, I love when Kerry shows off their Beautiful and strong lower Horse bodies! One of my commissions by Kerry has a 12th century Female wearing a Medieval Dress covering. If you wish to see it and the other 17 Fantasy commissions I have had Kerry create for me...Look her up on her Posts & Threads in Wet Canvas! You might get an idea how good an Artist Kerry is in other than just Animals & Scenic backgrounds! Enjoy your searching! Sincerely, chiron22 aka Don Kephart

Re: WIP- Another centaur!

Lazerus ... 'cause she's not a human ... doesn't need them because she is already wearing a natural covering ... her people don't share all cultural mores and and ethos with humans ... and clothing over a hair coat would have to very irritating and uncomfortable!

Painted in the grassy mid-to-fore ground area. Finishes the wood fence and gave the woman a face! I will need to adjust the woman's figure still but her face is done.

Hi Kerry & all! You do such a good job with grass, dirt, fences etc.! Mama Ellie has a nice face now! YAY! * Kerry, a Note: You may want to put wire glasses on a necklace around Ellie's neck!? Many good improvements are coming to the painting in this tutorial! See you all later! chiron22--Don K.

Re: WIP- Another centaur!

Painting food makes me hungry! There will be more on this picnic and more to do on Mama Ellie. Started on Pops too. Also some touch ups on the farm house and barn. Little things mostly.

Dear Kerry! Mama Ellie looks good in her glasses! That Basket must be magic...All that food on the blanket! Needs a fried Chicken with the food! Silverware, plates & napkins will appear on the blanket soon! You are doing just fine on the painting, Kerry! * We will talk about Annie's proportions on the phone later on. Sincerely, chiron22--Don K.

Re: WIP- Another centaur!

I vaguely recall a basket like that! It was a perpetual provider ... Every time it was opened it was full of fresh delicious food! It might have been in one of Robert Heinleins sci_fi novels ... perhaps the one about Lazerus Long? Or was it Larry Nivens novels Ringworld? Not sure ... it's been decades since I read them! Anyhoo ... This one is not that one! I did paint in another hamper for carrying all those luscious victuals. I also got another face mostly done. Added a windmill and some hogs in the barn yard.

Dear Kerry & all looking on! There you go...The extra Hamper! MORE STUFF! Mr. Mc Shire...Eb to his Family & Friends has a sturdy, aged, and benev'olent FACE! * His name Eb...short for Ebenezer. Well, I don't see a Lake or River so a Windmill for water will take care of the Home, garden, animals & small Orchard! * I hate to put a damper in this nice clean painting, Kerry. But the house & Barn are a few generations old (Like I said in Post #5) and they should show a little ware/use in them. Please. Not too much! LOL! * Can you make the House wood built? Let me know what you think! I'll call you Saturday for a chat. Take care till next time! chiron22--Don Kephart
