A Violet, not Violent, Mini-Mural
This was a fun little project that took two days to complete, and the task was to depict violets and the logo in a way to bring out the colors (and the flower mascot, if there is such a thing), of the organization that this represents. The wall base paint was a flat light yellow latex and the mural area measured 80" x 18".

Re: A Violet, not Violent, Mini-Mural
Thank you, Michele! The strange title for this thread was inspired by my tendency to slip in the wrong words. Example: While explaining what I could do for the composition, I professionally told my client that in order to balance this with this, "I can put some violents over here..."!

Re: A Violet, not Violent, Mini-Mural
My, Barbara, I am flattered...and thank you! I will honestly share something with you: Lettering is NOT what I do well, so beads of sweat were dripping from my worried brow as I had to LEAN OVER the counter to reach the wall and paint. So relieved when those letters were done!

Bending over that counter top to paint all that might have a uncomfortable if not violent component to it!

If you watched me from behind, you would probably get violetly ill, Mr. Mike!
