some new ones for a Jodi Ohl class

I took a Jodi Ohl online class, Absolutely Abstract. It's something I'm trying to get a better handle on. These four little ones, 6x6", have 5 or 6 layers, some modeling paste, some gesso, some graphite, some watersoluable crayon and some acrylic paint. They were a challenge but a fun one and I'm happy with the result.

Fabulous four abstractions, Helen! I love Jodi Ohl and have a book she wrote. It would be great to take a class.

these are wonderful in every way! i took a moment to visualize them in their actual size and they got even better 😊. the layering is very effective creating soft, continuous 3D motion and the black squiggles add whimsy and contrast. read on her site for a good while, feeling strangely energized now!

Love the fact I can tell apart subject from background and all the interaction between the subjects as you pass from one panel to the other. Really like it!
