Working “alla prima” is something that I have missed in recent months. The messiness of it is fun. I decided to revisit a painting that I tried before, probably not for the last time. It is a little hard to photograph as light reflects off the high points on the paint. C&C Welcome Gary

Thanks Tom. It is best to paint Summer pictures in Winter and Winter pictures in Summer. Seasons always seem more appealing in their opposite.
Thanks Chaithram. May Darkness lead me to Light. I only wish it were true.
Thanks Donna. I painted over a wet underpainting sketch of Transparent Red Oxide. That forces the use of opaque, juicy paint. It is a good effect.
Thanks again to all. Gary

Thanks Wes. I must admit that I am not happy with the clouds. The approach is alright but the shapes seem meh.
Thanks Lisa. I do enjoy plastering on the paint.
Thanks Gary
