Martin, you are improving! You have brought out more features of her face, such as the cheeks and her delicate brow ridges. Her eyes may be a tad big, but they are quite luminous and work well for a fairy. Her pursed lips add a bit of character as well.
Major kudos to you for pushing yourself to new limits!

Thanks for the Kudos I have been sketching a lot. I bought some new compressed pastels in earth and flesh tones they look better when I shade the features. enjoy Martin

I can see improvements as well. just keep on it, adding depth and contrast.

Thumbs up Re: One more try at fairy

She is a perfectly lovely fairy, in my humble opinion!
Now that you are getting the technique of drawing a regular human eye pretty well (always keep practicing) you can change it or parts of it to suit whatever you care to create. On your first fairy drawing, the eye was a bit elongated & you could try that now too - I think that could be very interesting!
Be sure to keep us updated - I really like what you are doing so far!

It is so great to see you improving your technique. That's what this forum is all about--we are all growing and learning together. Thanks for posting your new work!
