A Day in the Life - 2006

The "A Day in the Life" project has its roots in the Photography forum, but all WC members are welcome, and encouraged, to join in this project.

The concept is quite simple - on one particular day of the year, all project participants take pictures of what is happening in their lives on that day. We have chosen Saturday, August 19, 2006, as the "Day in the Life" that we will be taking our photos. In addition to sharing as many of those images as you wish, we will each select one photo to symbolize our life for that day.

Because all photos must be taken on one day, we have limited the sign-up period to a little past that date, so if you want to participate, sign up now! Once you have signed up, you will be able to post your images at your leisure after August 19.

It is fun to see where everyone was, and what everyone was doing on that day. Choosing one specific day creates a kind of connection between all the particpants. We hope that you will join us.

“The tragedy of life is not that it ends so soon, but that we wait so long to begin it.”- W. M. Lewis
“It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.”- Alan Cohen
