Re: Project Discussion: Paper Exchange 2009

Maybe it's that our postal service is slower at this end (although it's not when it's domestic - I got something mailed within a day once!). Anyway, better the anticipation...

And worth waiting for...mine arrived today, managed to survive the mailman...no way he could have folded that package, and I am sure the 'do not folds' on the cover helped! Thanks everyone, esp. Diane.

Re: Project Discussion: Paper Exchange 2009

paper exchange package was delivered yesterday by my visiting US friend (who received these for me at his address)
thanks to everyone for your contributions...a real range of papers (about two thirds of which have never tried). The printed black/gold thin tissue and the elephant paper is wow

I'm still undecided how I would use those. I'm thinking the black would be good for chine colle and the elephants for some big blocky type print of an animal.

Papers arrived yesterday! What an exciting package!! Thank you everyone who participated, what a delightful collection of choices. And all so different. And thank you especially to Thea (Canemah) for the amazing hand-made paper. Wow.
