Here's a video with voice-over narration of a cowboy caricature I did using Photoshop and Painter X - shows the process while being done.
(This web site asked me to do a demo... didn't realize it, but they attached a short ad in front of it... anyway, it's free to watch)

Re: How-I-did-it / Post Your Demos Here! :-)

Hello digital artists! I wanted to show you my video of how I paint a marble using ArtRage 4.

This is a painting of a marble in ArtRage 4. The original art was done in 46 minutes and the time has been compressed to 15 minutes for this video. I am using some custom brushes from the ArtRage forum (http://forums.artrage.com/) as well as Windsor & Newton color palette from the same forum. The reference for the marble is my own.

I photographed over 50 photos of marbles in various groupings in the full sun. If you'd like to use the marbles as references for your own drawing and painting please feel free to do so, just credit me, thank you! You can find the photographs here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stratoa...7633884127303/

You can download the demo or purchase ArtRage 4 here: http://www.artrage.com/

I guess this would be considered a speed painting, however the painting wasn't done as fast as you see it, it's just been sped up in post processing.

Here are two videos that show how I work - two different styles to mix things up a bit. Process is also written in the video description.

First video also posted in Digital Showcase, so apologies if already seen - only just discovered this thread.
