Does anyone know where these can be purchased? Do they still even make them?
Or if they are not available anymore, what is a good substitute to use?
They are the ones that look like a pencil with a small brush on the other end. I am lost without them, as they could be sharpened to a sharp point for small areas.
Thanks for any help you can give.

I’ve checked in all the stores that are around me – nothing. Staples is not around where I live that I know of.

There are different types of erasers to put in the electric ones, and they are thin at least- not as pointed as the old typewriter ones though….have you checked ebay? pehaps someone has a warehouse where they found a box of them lying around….

Ain’t it grand! I bought a 1930s typewriter last year and I just had to have one of these erasers (although the really old-fashioned ones that had the circular eraser that revolved would have been more authentic for the period…they looked like this: http://www.nashersculpturecenter.org/object.aspx?ObjectID=123&content=Bibliography) to complement it.
